Chrysler has an unlucky seeding indeed. If it reaches the final, it possibly has to face:
round 1: Central Plaza round 2: Al Hamra Tower sweet 16: Shanghai WFC / Kingdom Centre / John Hancock Center quarter finals: Jin Mao Building / Bank of China Tower semi finals: Burj Khalifa / Willis Tower I don't think that the Empire State Building will have problems reaching the quarter finals. |

Actually the plan is to coincide these with the international football tournaments, so the next World Cup will be summer 2014. In between we'll do continental cups to coincide with their respective cups. Europe is up next summer.

very cool idea i think Burj Khalifa can play its height bonus for a long time. against a charismatic structure like empire state building it will be hard though
ALSO: GO PETRONAS, my favorite building x) |

what are those things that it takes?
what are the criteria we are looking for? is it just the height?or the design performance..a good hi rise building is the one which serves the best in term of users comfortability and safety..how do we know by just looking at the picture?

I do realize however that Chrysler Building is probably the most popular from all high rise buildings. Hence I made that remark. I am convinced Chrysler Building will win this WC, and all the WC that follow.

I voted for Kingkey, simply love it!
My favourite skyscrapers would be : 2IFC and ICC (both Hongkong) and Empire state building. 1WTC wil be the next world champion I think, it will be stunning when finished

The first rounds are pretty easy choices for me. But the next ones are gonna be a lot tougher.
Lovin' it! |

I can't believe so many people vote for that architectual trainwreck Al Hamra Tower over the masterpiece Pearl River Tower.
