Is there really any need though? Surely everyone who's voting at this stage knows exactly what they are voting for.

Well since a lot of people are complaining about the images, we might as well do it to shut them up.

Totally agree -_- the size difference between the Burj and Chrysler in this case just outweighs all other factors.. at least i guess on this forum.

And what right do you have to talk to me like this?

If the photo was not photoshopped, the top of the crown will be blown out, just like the street lamps. It is normal to fix our photos after we shoot them but in the case its just not properly done.

Here is a proof it has been photoshopped. Pretty much the lighter the area, the more it has been manipulated.

While the Petronas is one of the most beautiful buildings I've seen in real life, I do have to agree that most of the images posted so far is post-processed.

HDR is needed to capture the highlights from the building and to properly expose its dark surroundings.

Damn, petronas took the lead by a single vote for the moment... this one is really hard.

the skyline of new york is nice, but i dont think that there are buildings that really get attention out of them, especially chrysler building totally disappears in the cluster. cant wait for Freedom Tower to be finished, then it will again have something to stand out.

What are you talking about? ESB, Bank of America, Trump World Tower, Chrysler, MetLife and Citigroup dominate Midtown from almost every conceivable angle.

NYC is the only city I've been to where tall buildings dominate the surrounding area from so many perspectives. You can see ESB from 30+ miles out in New Jersey, for christ's sake.

I would agree with you except BoA tower is sometimes hard to see for me. Chrysler does seem to get lost in the cluster sometimes, but ESB is always noticeable (and I can't wait for 15 Penn Plaza too)....

perhaps you have not been to HK. HK has 3000+ buildings with heights over 90 meters while NYC has less than 900. Please check link below.

And if you tabulate, total of buildings from 2nd to 5th still less than HK alone. NYC is far behind.

who cares. NY has much more economic and cultural impact than hk has or ever has had. and besides, this contest is about skyscrapers, not cities. go esb and chrysler!

guys this isn't an HK vs. NY thread, no need in going down that route comparing two beautiful, powerful cities.
