On another note to the commenting system: If you just submitted your post DO NOT refresh site later or your comment will copy itself with the new date. This have just happen to my post in last one on one, and now its 3 identical copies I guess it shouldn't work like that.

I had a look at the comment script and it turned out that the apostrophes caused a problem. As a comments is a static variable it'll replace any apostrophe into a &# 039. I think it's good now but let me know if anyone has other issues using the comment system.

Also, it won't insert the same comment by the same user twice if you reload the page.

And I totally don't. And I'm not voting for countries. I voted for Chinese, Americans, Dubai and even for North Korea project. Buildings are not like cars like somebody suggested, they represents the businesses inside, and while I can understand that for some level building design may be "silly" or futuristic, they also have to look at least a little bit elegant especially when it is office tower. Because while crazy looking sports car represents one extravagant individual, what represents crazy kitschy disproportional building like ngfc? Crazy maniacs working inside ? And Aon Center on the other hand fully represents its purpose, and its elegant, one of the most appreciated by me features the building may have.

Looking back at how much votes BOC had over Jinmao, ICC vs BOC must be another intense match.

Also Taipei101 vs 2IFC will be very intense too.

Dont think SWFC vs Chrysler will have much competition thou

I think T101 will out do 2IFC, due to its significance (being once world's tallest) and its inspiration (bamboo shape). 2IFC is just a good looking tower, thats about all

SWFC would have had a chance if Chrysler didn't have such a rich history and nice crown. SWFC is still the tallest tower on the mainland and has an exceptional observation tower, and a fantastic design. I still think Chrysler will prevail though

Again i think historic significance is ought not to be over weighted as a factor of basing one's decision.

Also i personally think and truly believes that Jinmao has a better crown yet it lost to BOC.

I think in this case the difference in their structural sizes outweighs the historic significance.

Fantastic idea the supertalls tournament!
I discovered it just today! What a pity!

So sorry that the John Hancock center is already out! It's one of my favourite buildings...

Well, I will support the Guangzhou International Finance Center, the Trump Tower and the legendary Willis Tower !!! :-)

Bye

Don't be silly both of you, perhaps the only real competition for Chrysler is the Burj or CoC (one for being the first real structural marvel of our times, the other for it's unusual yet amazing design), the others are just tall buildings, an no more than that. That being said, I'm happy that most of my favorites are in.

lol... come on... Everyone has their own opinion, IMO, Chrysler is just some hyper overrated building, i will choose SFWC over it anytime, its more simple and elegant.

It was silly from you to write that sort of comment, because your taste or your opinion is not the absolut truth.

Well, at least I have my very own POV, just so you know I'm not voting for countries, I'm voting for the structures themselves.
I've read lots of comments of people who choose there favorites supertalls depending of where they're located. And perhaps I'm being silly as well, but trust me, I'm not a biased person, but an honest one.
Greetings
