I don't like urban decay threads...anyway I think that Mexico city decay is worst than Rio and Sp decay in some points

Well, in spite brazilian cities have had growth lastly still they're a world reference of decay.

Specify which Brazilian cities, because poverty that is seen in Rio de Janeiro Sao Paulo is worse and more cruel than that seen in other parts of Brazil. In addition to my view, both the Brazilian and Mexican cities have areas badly degraded and ugly because they are in developing countries.

Hahaha, ok, I forgot to specify... I'll correct my post then: Rio and Sao Paulo are still a world reference of decay.

But, in the end you're right, both countries (well... actually whole Latin America) pass through the same situation.. so.. I don't get why this guy made a thread talking just about Mexico.. neither why the another guy (brazilteen) is pretending big cities in Brazil don't have the same problem.

I think Brazil Teen said "Its worst" not that in Brazil we dont have it. In my view its just the same kind of misery and urban decay. Just change the weather. But i dont like this kind of threads because it seems provocative just like the one created about Brazil and Brazil 360 graus. Of cors, we can have a very nice discussion here about urbanization and urban decay but threads like this almost never work. Let's see what happens.

I really think Brazilian cities has those problems and they aren't small I know those problems..Ive just said I think they are different Ive used the word worst I shouldn't do this they aren't worst what I meant is the houses of brazilian favelas are different of mexico favelas

Mmmmnnn... I wonder if the forumer who opened this thread is Brazilian or Mexican, most likely not. Anyways, we already know this crude side of all developing countries around the world, from Mexico to Argentina in Latin America. Do we need this kind of threads? I think we don't. What's next drug wars???? This thread and the similar should be close. My personal opinion.

"City" favelas are different from -hidden -outskirts "recently" populated- what you are watching is not Distrito Federal, but rather newly expanded poverty slums of estado de Mexico, if you come to MEX, sure you will never drive through this areas, yes you will pass through many city favelas, which over time have become more "organized" than this outskirts, then you can compare and see how similar ar to the ones in brazil

Haha ha... Yeah so horrible, thats why 20+ million tourists visit Mexico yearly in spite of the bad publicity (or threads like this). Oh yeah and I forgot... you should ask the Italians who are settling down in Mexico city and Cancun.

I don't think this thread is awful. That's our world, guys! Every place in this world deserves to be shown to the whole world. And overall, thread like this should be not a way to fight with people from other countries as happened here between Mexican and Brazilian people.

Decay? I live in Padania, no landscapes like slums in my country but in every big city there is decay. Mexico City is, after Tokyo, the biggest city in the world, so this images don't suprise me at all.

The only things I could criticize are bunches of junk all over the streets but same thing (fortunately less) happens in Southern Italy (and now I dont' want to be considered as a racist or xenofobe by other Italian people because the images were broadcasted on all our tv-shows).

I just said that I am not surprised, but before seeing these pictures I never thought that Mexico City would have been SO dirty.
