Interesting. Usually, SU has nonstop flights to the US, but this is an interesting development since stopping over at SNN would mean the flight can arrive as a domestic flight rather than an international one. I hope SU can do it so that it can fly nonstop to SFO with either an A332 or the new B77W.

S7 Airlines for iPhone – now with Passbook!

We’ve updated our iPhone app. You can now add your mobile boarding pass and S7 Priority member card to your Passbook app. S7 Airlines is not only the first Russian airline to offer this Passbook feature, but was also the first to develop an iPhone app.

Passbook is an iPhone app allowing users to save all their e-tickets, boarding passes, events tickets, loyalty cards, discount coupons and gift certificates in one place on their phone.

In the S7 app, simply click «Add to Passbook» in your profile, or while viewing a mobile boarding pass, and your S7 Priority member card or boarding pass will appear in Passbook.

This update also includes a number of other new features. You can now save your favourite flights for easy access at any time in the Flight Status section, and information on planned flights will be available in the Calendar.

S7 Priority members can now view their booking history and profile, and add new identity document details.

The update is available now at iTunes.

UN operates a B777 with four classes? It has not revealed such service class types before, even on my reading from Airline Route. Do you have any more details on this development? And I primarily thought that UN is like a discount carrier too.

Well, they have four classes for few years already, available on B777 and B747, but actually its more likely 3 classes, because Premium and Tourist Economy have few difference like seat pitch and meals:

1. Imperial First class is a brand-new standard of passenger service, combining the Russian imperial families' finest traditions of hospitality with state-of-the-art technology and the highest service standards in global commercial aviation.
Transaero's Imperial class is created for those who can appreciate elegance and luxury, and value the exclusive nature of the services they receive.
Imperial is being introduced on Boeing 777 and Boeing 747-400.

2. Business Class
The cabin is located in the forward section of the aircraft and is unique in that the Boeing 737 aircraft have the largest seat pitch and the smallest number of seats in the region. In Boeing 777-300s and Boeing 747-400s, seats are transformed into a fully functional bed.

3. Premium Economy

4. Tourist Economy

P.S. And no, UN is not a lowcost discounter its the second classic largest airline in Russia, after Aeroflot.

Those are really awesome! I'd say, UN is now a great Russian carrier to fly with, and it looks markedly different with SU in so many ways. And do those PTVs have AVOD or no?

I see in 773 Imperial firstlast row. Too small business: only 14 seats. Aeroflot will have a cool business: 2-2-2 but 30 seats, first class seating in few airlines, but bad Y, 3-4-3
P.S. NRT - 772 or 773?
