Seems like Transaero's planes are finding new homes already:

Southwest snaps up Transaero B737-700s

http://www.ch-aviation.com/portal/ne...aero-b737-700s

"Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800© Southwest Airlines Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800
03NOV2015
Southwest Airlines (WN, Dallas Love Field) has snapped up five ex-Transaero Airlines (UN, Moscow Vnukovo) B737-700s ch-aviation research has revealed. The aircraft are being leased by the Texan LCC from Dutch lessor, AerCap.

Thus far, two of the aircraft - msn 29350 and 29359 - have already arrived at Everett while the other three - msn 29352, 29354 and 29355 - are in Shannon awaiting onward transmission to the United States.

Southwest currently operates 468 B737-700s and has been adding a lot of second-hand aircraft of the type of late."

I hope Alitalia(AZ) is looking at at least 2 of the brand new but now stored(never saw pax service) A321s- they could be a bargain as they have the same engines as the rest of their fleet.

Russian 737 operators could be in big trouble.

According to public sources nearly 190 Boeing-737 aircraft of different modifications are currently in service in Russia

MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. The Interstate Aviation Committee suspends the certificate for all Boeing-737 aircraft in Russia until receiving a joint notice of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency and the US Federal Aviation Administration on the aircraft airworthiness. Such a statement is contained in IAC letter to heads of Russian and US authorities posted on the IAC website.

IAC letter signed by the Air Register Chairman Vladimir Bespalov says Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency was in correspondence with the relevant US authority concerning urgent improvements of Boeing-737 aircraft rudder control system.
Operations of Boeing-737 to continue until receiving formal instruction

A source in a Russian air carrier told TASS that operations of Boeing-737 aircraft will continue until receiving a formal instruction.

I suppose DME-SIP will be operated 5x weekly, 5x daily seems unrealistic. Are all these new operations or just a switch from Orenair and Rossyia already operated AFL flights in partnership?

No. 5 daily. SIP destination during summer peak season receives governmental dotations and there are lots of tourists. This summer (S15), as far as I remember, SU operated 9 daily flights from SVO to SIP (part of them performed on widebodies). D/t closing of Egypt and Turkey leisure markets, russian resorts (SIP, AER) are getting ready to handle more tourists all around from Russia.

FV already operates up to 5 daily flights from DME to LED;
R2 operating up to 4 daily flights from DME to AER, 2 daily to KGD;
PEE is a new destination for SU group. Nowadays only s7's 3 daily flights are operating from DME.
