They use both A330-200 and A330-300 on this route, you can view it on their website for a needed date.. Actually you can book SU/KE ticket, KE is operating from the same terminal D and they have codeshare, so i guess possible to buy SU on a JFK-SVO leg and continue with KE..

It seems Aeroflot will use its Moscow-Manchester rights soon.

They have been granted the slots at MAN to run a daily SVO-MAN-SVO using A320 from June 2012.

More details when I have it.

It seems they are going to use all 7 slots. Due past history at MAN with bmi/Cathay pacific and Transaero, MAN slots and MAN-Russia Bilaterals have a 'use them or loose them' clause.

Basically, Aeroflot applied for 7 flights. If it didn't use all of its 7 flights, they would loose the ones they aren't using, and someone like S7/Transaero could ask for them

Russian carrier Transaero has received its First Boeing 777-300 aircraft, and plans to operate the service on Moscow Domodedovo – Vladivostok route effective 17NOV11.

Starting 11DEC11, DELTA and AEROFLOT will begin reciprocal codeshare service. DELTA’s “DL” code will be placed on AEROFLOT’s Russia – US service as well as 6 points in Russia.

At time this post goes to press, SU codeshare service operated by DELTA is not yet available in the reservation system. DELTA Codeshare service operated by AEROFLOT is not open for sale.

Prices are already known, but they are quite high ~9000 rub for RT. Utair provides cheapier service.

Aeroflot will order Airbus jets with a total value of $2 billion

The Executive Board of Aeroflot, Russia’s largest carrier, will discuss a contract with Airbus on delivery of 30 A320s on November 23rd. As reported by Lenta.ru with reference to Vedomosti newspaper, the total value of this contract is estimated at $2,25 billion at list prices.

According to information of Aeroflot and Airbus, А320 liners will be acquired under the operating leasing deal through subsidiary of Russian Technologies, Aviacapital-service. Aeroflot and Airbus have denied any official comments about possible deal.

Russian Technologies in its own turn noted that this refers only to provisional agreements. According to unknown employee of the state corporation, the value of the contract and dates of deliveries may be discussed only after the approval of contract terms by Executive Board and Board of Directors of Aeroflot, which should hold its meeting on November 24th.

Aeroflot’s fleet includes about 100 liners, most of which are produced by Airbus. At the same time, according to Aeroflot’s development strategy, its fleet should be increased to around 300 aircraft by 2015 and to 550 ones by 2025.

The carrier has started to increase the share of Boeing aircraft in its fleet in 2011. Aeroflot and Boeing have signed memorandum of understanding in the end of 2010 and according to it the Russian carrier will acquire 20 long-haul Boeing-777s and Boeing-787s Dreamliner with a total value of about $5 billion.
