MISC | Busiest Cities - Statistics for all airports combined

This is the combined total number of passengers for all airports serving cities for 2010. No doubt there'll be some arguments about which airports do actually serve which cities - this is the grouping generally used by the ACI.

Both charts are very interesting!

Bubbalo, as Greg apparently did, you might want to include Viracopos Airport (VCP) and Campo de Marte Airport (MAE) in São Paulo figures. Number of passengers handled:

------------------------------ 2010 --------- 2009 --------- 2008
São Paulo-Guarulhos (SP) --- 26,849,185 --- 21,727,649 --- 20,400,304
São Paulo-Congonhas (SP) --- 15,499,462 --- 13,699,657 --- 13,672,301
Campinas-Viracopos (SP) --- 5,430,066 --- 3,364,404 --- 1,083,878
São Paulo-Campo de Marte (SP) --- 361,984 --- 312,460 --- 269,498

There are also in the area, the airports of São José dos Campos (84,176; 43,820; 48,469), Sorocaba (63,243; 58,342; 48,922), Campinas-Amarais (29.246; 26.971; 26.543) and Jundiaí (19,607; 19,112; 17,496).
