But if it went from small to big...Thats logical....But in the latest pic, the site looks small..No?!...In terms of Area and not volume.

Official confirmation:

Samsung C&T to be contractor for Oberoi's high rise project

Quote:
MUMBAI: Real estate developer Oberoi Realty on Tuesday said it has appointed Samsung C&T Corporation as its general contractor for the iconic high rise mixed use project in Worli.

A joint venture between Sahana and Oberoi Realty will develop the high rise, which comprises a residential tower, commercial office space and a luxury hotel, under Oasis Realty. The project is scheduled to be completed phase-wise over 53 months.

Samsung C&T has constructed many of the world's tallest buildings like the Burj Khalifa in the UAE and the Petronas Tower in Malaysia.

This contract marks the entry of Samsung C&T Corporation in India, the release said.

"Samsung C&T has a track record of constructing the world's tallest landmark buildings using advanced construction technology. I am confident that this association will enable us to strengthen and grow our vision of bringing the best international construction practices to India and contribute one more landmark to the skyline of Mumbai," Oberoi Realty CMD Vikas Oberoi said in a statement.

Samsung C&T President and CEO Yeon Joo Jung said, "The project will be a remarkable milestone for Samsung C&T as it would be our first project in India's high rise development space. The successful completion of this iconic building would be vital for our future growth in Indian market."

The building is designed by US-based Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, while the structural consultancy is provided by Leslie E. Robertson Associates (LERA), USA.
