Alright thanks, and if Alitalia is really launching service to Seoul in 2012 like they say will they fly from Rome or Milan? Most likely?

Alitalia in 2012 doesn't launch service for Seoul but if they would open the route for ICN, they open them from FCO.

The plan is changed, now Alitalia for the 2012 open service for Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Delhi from FCO.

To me, if I must be honest, is not it hot or cold.
Believe me when I tell you that, in my modest opinion, Alitalia is all wrong.

I heard Alitalia was not the most well managed airline in the world.

Still, would have been nice to have another airline landing at ICN for me to use.

The history of Alitalia is very difficult to tell, I tell you just that with MXP hub (if they followed the Project Cempella) could do great things.

ICN I do not know the reason for this lack of openness, potrebe may be that Asia, except for the route to NRT FCO airport is not as strong during the year.

E' tutto ragazzi. Credo il più grande Clipper di sempre: 105 persone, più delle 90 per ogni International! Mentalità spotteristica alle stelle!

E' incredibile cosa riesca ad attrarre questo aereo. Esteticamente improponibile ma di importanza madornale.

Korean Air to Milan and Rome is now seperate. No longer is Milan flight stopping at Rome before heading back to ICN or voce versa.

Nope, nonstop flight from both cities to ICN.

It was reported a while ago, but cant find the link.

Maybe it got nixed since Korean Air is splitting the Madrid/Amsterdam service.

The director of Korean Air Italy had said that in the summer 12 there would be 2 flights to Italy, one for and one Malpensa to Fiumicino, the planes would be used were not specified, but I think they would use the A330-200 .
We'll see .....

Meanwhile, I have heard of a possible Incheon-Malpensa by Asiana Airlines (which is already in full flight with the cargo with 747).

If Asiana is going to Italy the first stop is Rome. Not Milan.

Unless I am missing something, most traffic to italy is tourism. Milan is great but Rome is the key tourist destination for tourists IMO.
