Starbucks in your country

There's a thread for McDonald's so I though why not start one for interesting Starbucks architecture in our respective countries!

Let's start with my country The Philippines

There a 3 in the National airport of Brussels.
One in the central station of Antwerp
2 are opening this year in Brussels Central station
1 is planned in Ghent-Sint-Pieters railway station.

So they don't have their own buildings and starbucks isn't popular around here...

I rather have fresh mealed coffee beanes to make my own coffee the old fashioned way...Tastes 100 times better than all the coffee of starbucks togheter.
Also I don't know why people like Senseo so much. I tastes like crap compaired to real coffee.

Love the old jail location, it's the perfect place for a coffee house!! Scotland, however, only has tradtional high street branches of Starbucks. Boring!

I think there's 7 SB in Romania but 6 are located in Malls, so it sucks.
The only non-mall Starbucks is just a 2 minute walk from me @ an office building. Nothing spectacular to show in photos.

2. Even if it tasted good I wouldn't go there. I undertand the purpose of such fastfood chains like McD or KFC but a café chain? What the fuck is this? Really, there are much better and "warmer" cafés with better prices and coffees out there but people still prefer café chains like Starbucks thinking they are being cool and oh-so-liberal, but in reality all they are doing is being pathetic as a pile of pigshit and making other small cafes who can't compete go bankrupt thus putting everyone who owns and works in those cafes in an uncomfortable situation.

I haven't been to any Starbucks for ages now despite having 2 within 1 km circle from my home, and I hate everyone who goes there.

Using True Launch Bar you can easily organize your quick launch icons into a menu system, using icons, text, or both. In fact, it uses the same directory structure as the quick launch bar, so upon installing it will immediately show you what you already had there. You can of course configure quick launch menus using a folder structure under your quick launch folder, but using True Launch bar the process is made much easier, and you're able to customize the look and feel of your menus in a way that Windows doesn't allow you to do by itself.

True Launch Bar is also extensible, and has a wide range of available plugins to allow you to show pertinent system information in your taskbar.

I don't know where you're getting your Starbucks from but every cup i've ever had came in a cardboard cup.

I don't know what kind of coffee you like but the first time I tasted Starbucks years ago, I knew this was what coffee was supposed to taste like all along. Judging by the company's incredible growth over the last 25 years or so, it seems millions agree with me.

I have no idea what you mean by other cafes being "warmer" than Starbucks.

I happen to really like Starbucks and I am neither "cool" nor "liberal".

If other cafes can't compete and the people in them feel "uncomfortable", perhaps they should try and make a better product then.

If you actually hate everyone who goes to Starbucks i'd suggest a mental health professional but I highly doubt you actually do since you just sound like some pissed off 15 year-old who can't articulate himself better.

Ever tried coffee made of fresh mealed coffee beans in a porcelain cup?
Strabucks is a chain. Tey go for profit all the way and don't care how their coffee tastes, how it is served,...
I don't wanna know what they add in it to make it taste good...

I suggest you go to a real coffee house sometime where they meal the fresh beanes in front of you eyes...

Yes those cups are actually cardboard cups insulated with polystyreen.

In The Netherlands we say: Starbucks, makes your stomach bigger and your wallet thinner.

Meaning a cup of coffee cost €5,00 ($7,15) how crazy!

But anyway I like the coffee. In The Netherlands Starbucks are located in the airports and railwaystations.

Quite the opposite actually; Starbucks is seen as a major symbol of capitalism and mainstream society, the some of the exact things that 'oh-so-liberal' and 'cool' people are against.

No. In fact i've never even heard of fresh "mealed" coffee beans. Do you mean fresh "ground" beans?

Okay, now I think i'm starting to understand and this has nothing to do with Starbucks' coffee and everything to do with it being a large, multinational corporation. Saying they don't care about how their coffee tastes is absurd, especially since they pretty much pioneered that dark-roasted flavour that is synonymous with Starbucks. Any company that doesn't care about profit is a company that isn't going to be around for long and Starbucks has been around for 40 years. In order to make profit a company has to churn out a decent product and I can't say i've ever been disappointed by a Starbucks coffee.

I don't know why Starbucks coffee is so expensive in Holland (taxes maybe?) but here in Canada, the biggest, most expensive coffee they make will run you slightly over $5. Also, have you bought coffee at other small, local coffee shops? In my experience Starbucks is competitive with other places.

I know this thread has completely been derailed but the Starbucks where I live are really boring, especially in contrast to those first few pictures, so there's really not much point in showing them.

you can get starbucks in a porcelain cup if you ask - if you plan to sit inside the starbucks and drink they will service it in a proper coffee mug

regular coffee itself at starbucks is cheap i think a venti is like $2.25 for a basic coffee

it gets expensive when you want a latte or a misto or a macchiato etc.

vancouver has over 119 starbucks and greater vancouver has over 300 locations - some of the ones in the suburbs have drive-thrus - Vancouver was the first place in Canada to get them and one of the first places outside of seattle in 1987

anyway I have a few pics - these are kitty corner from each other

this one has undergone a renovation on the inside and its quite nice

this is one of the newest starbucks and is following their new "Green" scheme - and its one of only 3 locations in vancouver to use the clover system - whatever that means

No Starbucks here in Panama, but the local coffee is superb, so I don't think anyone minds. In parts of the Caribbean I always smile when I pass a Rituals Coffee - the green lettering of their signs is so clearly "inspired" by Starbucks.
