Pra-ji.. am just a "button-dabaaw photu-khichwaliya". The pros are Sidney and Humayun and many others..

This one is atop Lantau Peak (HK) looking into the sunset while an airplane passed over with contrails.

World8115 .. you will gag if I tell you this. In my 28 years in HK, I have taken pix of the skyline perhaps only once in 1987 using my Vivitar AF camera.

Thereafter I have never bothered taking any, as the world has taken HK skyline pictures as it has metamorphosed into today's. Nat Geo.. Discovery.. Time, Newsweek, Asiamagazine, Economic Times.. they've done HK skyline to death.

I have one from atop the (Victoria) peak posted somewhere on my FB albums.. will have to dig it out.

Actually Im not surprised as most people living in a city for long time do not bother to take pics even if the city may contain worlds most famous sites. Its the tourists/visitors who bother about the pics and making a visit to all the tourist attractions of a city. That is the reason I think why travellers make the best photographers. This is just my opinion

Exactly this is why I mentioned last time that I am not for posting pics taken by me in Mysore city heritage thread,but reserved it exclusively for travelers. :P

World / Engineer / Koresh - thanks for your kind comments.

Currently using my Sony Cybershot with Carl Zeiss as my work-horse has been rated REDUNDANT . May invest some pocket money on Canon or Nikon next month or so.

Meanwhile, some not so crisp shots from Sony Cybershot >>

This was the second shot I took from my old DSCF707 in a dark room with just the lamp and "ghangaal" set on the floor. The result was .. what you see.
