Now, a picture of one part of the historic centre. This picture is a bit dark, also because there are a lot of old buildings that haven't still been restored.

All right!

Some pictures taken 2 weeks ago.

Cantabria Avenue, that marks the limit with Gamonal neighborhood. It is one of the avenues with more traffic in the city.

San Cosme y San Damián church, located in the historic south part of the city. I love the tower and the entrance, simply beautiful.

The Catedral viewed from the Human Evolution Complex:

Rey San Fernando square, it has been recently restored, now it is more accesible and full of space.

To sum up, this is Madrid street, the historic path that has connected Burgos and Madrid.

A bad quality pic, but it has a curious point of view I love it because it reflects a plenty of life city

Very nice pics, pal! The cathedral is amazing, i remember visiting it when i was a child, but not much about the city. Maybe i'll have to go again soon.
If you have the time, it would be nice to see pics of the castle, too.

You should come back this summer!

There a lot of things to do and places to visit. If you only visited the Cathedral, then you need to visit at least the Cartuja de Miraflores and the Las Huelgas Monastery, pretty amazing!!

And of course, the Museum of Human Evolution is worth it, unique in the world and very interesting.

I've noticed that Burgos looks very similar to some cities in Central and Eastern Europe.

Oh yes!

Burgos is a pretty european city. One of the reasons: it is an important stop in the Camino de Santiago route, so during the last 5 hundred years, the city has been affected by all the european influencies.

Some pictures taken last weekend. They show daily life in Burgos.

Cathedral, so much light on it.

Espolón walking park.

Some pilgrims doing the Camino de Santiago.

The river Arlanzón, green and clean.

And to sum up, another one of the Cathedral from the Human Evolution Complex.
