In terms of beauty easily Paris who probably also is the most beautiful capital and big city in Europe. Moreover it's the most visited city in the world by tourists.

Metropolitan Paris is much bigger than metropolitan Berlin.

Anyway in terms of beauty, history, importance and attention (Paris receives the most tourists in the world of any city) then Paris edges Berlin.

"With about 42 million tourists annually in the city and its suburbs,[21] Paris is the most visited city in the world. The city and its region contain 3,800 historical monuments and four UNESCO World Heritage Sites.[21]"

Paris was the largest city in the Western world for about 1,000 years, prior to the 19th century, and the largest in the entire world between the 16th and 19th centuries.[6][7][8]
Paris is today one of the world's leading business and cultural centres, and its influences in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities.[9][10][11][12] It hosts the headquarters of many international organizations such as UNESCO, the OECD, the International Chamber of Commerce or the European Space Agency. Paris is considered one of the greenest[13] and most liveable[14] cities in Europe. It is also one of the most expensive.[15][16]"

Paris is absolutely beautiful indeed. Berlin is not but it is always developing and changing. it has far more potential for the future. yet it is counted on 3rd place
after Paris and London regarding tourists. because of the history there is an
unique mix of architecture. and it is more liberal, openminded and got a relaxed
atmosphere. and it is a lot cheaper.

Taste is always difficult to agree on. What can't be discussed are cold facts.

Are you sure about that? I think Barcelona is the third most visited city in Europe.

Do you have a list?

Metropolitan Paris has a population of 12.5 million people and in terms of size I think it's the biggest Western European city and the second biggest next after Moscow if I recall correctly.

I visited Berlin once 5 years ago and did like it. Cool city indeed. A shame that a lot of it was destroyed during WW2 (blame Hitler) and that it was later divided into two.

Hey, just chill out. You love Paris, I think we get it. We're talking about skylines, not size, not number of tourists, not history etc...

Stop the off-topic now.

Too bad that there are several different references/sources that confirm what is being written.

Do you really believe this? I have never heared of that 3LC plus it doesn't sound very obvious to me judging from the content of his post.

Not everybody can know the correct shortform "FFM". I guess he means FFM with FKT.

You guess..
I don't think that "Frankfurt" is a much longer word than "Warsaw" (WRW?) though and obviously only Alexenergy knows what he meant by that 3LC so far.
