1. Paris, La Défense
The biggest european business district is stunning from each point of view, with the iconic Grande Arche. Waiting for some projects to be built (D2 ... Hermitage maybe ... Phare to be continued ... Generali & Ava, Lord have mercy )

2. Francfort
Beautiful and elegant skyline. Maybe too dispatched but they have place for it. In some photos, the towers seem to help the Commerzbank Tower to catch the sky, it's very poetic (there, i've said it ) ... ♥ Ich bein ein frankfurter. ♥ (?)

3. Moscou
Despitely too "condensé" (don't know the english item) so it's a little thrilling and oppressing but very impressive !

4. Rotterdam & 5. Barcelona
Both from some points of view.
I think that they just miss their iconic skyscraper.

...

Madrid : please continue to build skyscrapers and rendez-vous in a few years !
Varsovie : it could be great but the buildings ... eww.
Istanbul : soon ...
Londres : too dispatched, beautiful buildings (gherkin ... and gherkin) but ugly global skyline. Only Canary Wharf could be saved.
Berlin : pardon my french but that city has a skyline ?

Rendez-vous in 10 years for a new top 5, with maybe some eastern europe cities ...

Please give me a break man.
Who will finance these projects for the developers? Yes...the Bank.

The Spanish bank Bankia announced that because of bad real estate loans aid is needed. Bankia is the third-largest bank in the country and the weakest link of the Spanish financial system.
Investors are worried that Spain soon have to throw in the towel and emergency needs. In early May, the Spanish government nationalized all the ailing Bankia. That move was expected because Bankia has long been in serious difficulty and the entire Spanish banking sector is liable to endanger. The Spanish state is increasingly and less able to rescue the weak banking sector in the country, because it already is dealing with a large budget deficit.

According to Spanish agents, house prices in Spain dropped between 20% and 50%.
In addition, there is a huge surplus of unsold new homes and offices.

Sorry mate. No new Skyscrapers for Madrid the coming years!

Top 5 for me:
Moscow
London
Frankfurt
Paris
Warsaw

Milan is nice, but lacks density.
Rotterdam has density, but not much height.

Oh, a typo yet again! You probably mean in one vs one of the ugliest skyscraper competitions, like London...?

i even nominated both the gerkin and the shard to go top of the world's ugliest skyscrapers list.

they need to get more attention and promotion to be known globally, bro!!! i won't let a massive chance go by!!! gotta pledge your allegiance!

so, a lot of people around the world will be talking/discussing/criticizing (whether good or bad) about these london skyscrapers by this time now!

fame, popularity and world financial centre = total domination! go london... the capital of the world...
