Istanbul is definitely in top 5. Much much better than Warsaw and Rotterdam.

It looks so dense! It's going to look even better when the new Hermitage and Phare towers get built!

Btw. I miss Warsaw on your list.
From private investors. Just like 99% of all skyscraper projects in the world.

And you know why ? Because it is the highest, and one of the greatest and most iconic skylines of the continent.
Thats what the thread is about. Isn´t it ?

then rotterdam won't be in the top 5 list as you claimed earlier.

on the other hand, istanbul is building incredible amount of towers at the same time.

even if rotterdam gets more towers, it still won't be able to catch up with istanbul which is perhaps the most booming city in europe after london.

Sorry Dr_Cosmo, but your posts are nothing but laughable!
"Highest skyline"-One TV tower (that isn't even a building!) plus a handful of highrises that can't be higher than 100m...and you call that a highest skyline?
"Most diverse"-again, handful of little highrises and one TV tower...

And that's where we certainly disagree.
Berlin doesn't even have a single skyscraper (building 150m+), unlike most other cities in this thread, which have at least half a dozen of those. A single communist TV tower is nothing special and alone doesn't make a skyline 'one of the greatest'..
Also, the few highrise areas of Berlin are not only low by height but also not dense, very dull and don't include good quality buildings (with a few exceptions in Potsdamer Platz and City West).
No matter if you personally like Berlin's skyline, it certainly doesn't qualify as one of Europe's best ones (at least not more than e.g. Minsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Katovice, Lipsk, Sarajevo, Belgrade and other comparable cities).

You are obviously in the wrong thread. This thread is about SKYLINE !

You know what´s funny ?
The only thing I do is typing "skyline" and "Berlin" in Google Images.
And guess what, I get more hits than Frankfurt, Rotterdam, Warsaw or Moscow !

The skyline of Berlin is so popular and unique
even artists make T-Shirts and wallpaper with it.
