It's between Paris and London for me. I liked the pics for Liverpool, though, even if they may not qualify.
My first post!

Both lists are not wrong and obviously as you can see the difference in these two surveys. The first table surveyed by wikipedia is based on skyscrapers which are at least 115-125m tall. And his list is also true that Paris has tons of residential highrises that are between 85-95m
![]() Cities with top 10 tallest skyscrapers in EU Madrid - 4 London - 3 Frankfurt - 2 Paris - 1 Cities with top 20 tallest skyscrapers in Europe Moscow - 8 Madrid - 4 London - 3 Frankfurt - 2 Istanbul - 2 Paris - 1 |

I didn't say Madrid is the best European skyline, I only wanted to say Madrid has a skyline like few European cities, and you said that Madrid didn't deserve be in this list, absurd. Why do you talk about Frankfurt? Don't feel attacked, I know the Frankfurt skyline is better than Madrid skyline (for me the second in Europe after the Parisian). Yes, Madrid has 4 of the six tallest in EU: 1-Commerzbank Tower. Frankfurt. 259m. 2-Messeturm. Frankfurt. 256m. 3-Torre Caja Madrid. Madrid. 250m. 4-Torre de Cristal. Madrid. 249m. 5-Torre Espacio. Madrid. 236m. 6-Torre Sacyr. Madrid. 236m. You have to add ten +100m buildings (and a lot of proyects), some of them were the tallest in Western Europe. Quote:

Actually no city in EU can compete with Moscow (in terms of height and number of supertalls) which is home of Europe's tallest buildings.
I really quite like it Moscow Business Center (Taken on Oct, 2010) image hosted on flickr ![]() by one motion Another one taken on Aug, 2008 image hosted on flickr ![]() by firdaus omar Last edited by SO143; May 20th, 2011 at 10:58 PM. |

To me, a skyline isn't just skyscrapers, its a mixture of old and new architecture. So I rate London, then Paris as my top 2, because out of all of Europe's cities, they have managed to intertwine the old and new beautifully.
Then for the rest; 3. Rotterdam 4. Moscow 5. Warsaw I really think that Rotterdam's skyline is under-rated. Its in my top 3 easily, but in some 'best of Europe' threads, it barely scrapes the top 10
