It's not industrial. Those are heating stations. London or Paris don't get -30C from time to time.

It clearly is industrial...

"The growth of air pollution in Moscow does come from other sources as well. For example, the city now has some 12 super large heat power stations for its people. In addition, there are 53 more smaller heating stations called district stations. Plus, the industrial age in Moscow is still in full force with more than 3000 industrial factories and complexes producing huge amounts of air pollution each year. All of this is within Moscow’s city borders."

Its just annoying when people pass judgement on what they truely don't know about.

@Bhound
The last month we did really good in this thread by respecting each other and their oppnions. No need to let this escalate again, by newbies dropping in and shouting for banns and insult people by saying they would not know what they are talking about.

I found another picture of federation tower burning in the wikipedia. But no info, what happened

The light scheme on those two sort of twins on the right (apologies I don't know the name) is incredible, one of the best light schemes I've seen on a skyscraper.

Vilnius has probably the best modern skyline among the mid-sized European cities (smaller than 1 mio inhabitants).
