Lot of Turks drive through Austria when they travel to Turkey during summer, it makes sense. But I would like to see the picture anyway

Oddly enough, the TR-sign appears when you drive westbound, from Linz to Germany. This is not the direction in which most of the Turkey-bound traffic drives. I have seen older signs in the eastbound direction, but those have been removed (this is the present sign in that direction).

B91 towards the Loiblpass by any chance? Alternatively on one of the B-roads now bypassed by the A9.

No. I remember a sign for Greece and Turkey on the B80 towards Slovenia. Greece or Turkey via Dravograd sounds quite funny, but I guess that's how some trucks drove before the Karavanke Tunnel was built.

Turkey (via Bulgaria) posted in Constanța (Romania)

There are many signs indicating Turkey from Constanța, but coverage of the city by Google Street View is not really good.

I repost myself from another thread. You can say that some Spanish territories neigbour Morocco, but there is also Algeria and Italy here, so I think this can be valid for this thread:

Algeciras - http://goo.gl/maps/LW7cR - Tangiers shown in N-340

Almería - http://goo.gl/maps/QdZNI - Nador (Morocco), Oran (Algeria, but Spanish long ago), and Ghazaouet (Algeria, too), shown in entrance to port.

Alicante - http://goo.gl/maps/nGmTv - No city posted, just Algeria

Barcelona - http://goo.gl/maps/an1qz - Genoa posted near port

In Santander and Bilbao I only found "Ferry" posted, but no reference to Plymouth or Portsmouth. What I found in Bilbao was a "Drive on the right" sign for English arrivals, I posted it at border crossings thread.

In Gibraltar is the same, only "Ferry" posted, no Tangiers.

I found this picture via Google:

On the A1 motorway to Tangiers.

Tarifa (Spain) is mentioned, because it is still reachable via the old city port of Tangiers. All other ferrys to Europe are handled by the new Port Tanger Med, which goes to the right. However Sebta/Ceuta does neighbor Morocco directly.

Technically Spain does neighbour Morocco. But if you count that then Brazil also neighbors France, and UK neighbors Spain, and so on, as do many previously colonialized or occupied territories :p

KRX_69, this thread is only for non-neighbouring countries, that is not the case of Spain and Portugal. The thread you're looking for is somewhere in the next pages of this sub-forum. Btw, there's also a sign showing Badajoz about 1 km after that one.

Thread for posting signs to cities in neighbouring countries:

Does/Do your country/ies have signs for cities in neighbouring countries?

Signs to be posted in the present thread are more special and rare since they point to a destination in a foreign country with at least another country (or the sea) in between.
