Better than I had hoped! And I recall that a number of Brisbane forumers were skeptical that this would be an absolute tallest.

Yep, we're stoked! This is equal in height to Eureka tower in Melbourne. Oh, and Infinity Tower got a height increase on the same day!

Just perusing the local forum I get the impression that Brisbanites have very little faith that this is going to come to fruition.

They paid $40 million for the site, it's Billbergia's first development of such scale, and the demand is well and truly there - be it retail, office, residential and hotel. The likelihood of it going ahead is more chance than not.

I think this tower will eventually go ahead... the Brisbane City Council and QLD State Government are investing so much money into the capital city...

This tower will be a great addition to the city skyline and fills the low void in the middle part of the city centre - and moves away from the golden triangle too...

I think I prefer 111+222 over Vision - it looks less like a ***** for one

i still prefer Vision, this one would look a lot better had the original design never had been released... but then again it still looks amazing, Brisbane makes Adelaide look like a complete backwater

Does South Australia/Adelaide have strict height restrictions?

In all fairness - Brisbane unlike Adelaide is a big port city and has over two million people - Adelaide has 1.2 million?
