I am actually really excited about this project, and look forward to watching it's development as I venture into the city each day and witness a future landmark in it's birth stage. This structure will definitely redefine the Brisbane skyline and hopefully, fingers crossed, will lead to the Airlines creating new airways, so taller and more iconic towers can follow : )

Het mag ik veel : )

just so you know, it's Air Traffic Control that limit the height of the buildings and given the cities proximity to the airport, it's difficult to devise an alternative for certain wind directions and situations.

woaaah I love it!

how come australia always goes 3 meters shy of a supertall?

EDIT: Answer is right above me, but they could at least raise the height limit by 3 meters.

Great project. The renders are very good and it will fit in the skyline very well.

Apparently they're trying to get the building over the 300m mark, but CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) must be dealt with!

that would be good if they did, I would love to see Oz get a 300 meter building to the roof, especially one this good looking.

Yeah in Australia civil aviation industries are a bitch to get past. Here in Adelaide, we have had so many wonderful towers cancelled thanks to these guys.

BNE airport is hardly close to the city centre of Brisbane... so yes I understand that CASA had restrictions but the flight paths in and out of BNE (my BF is a pilot) go nowhere near the city centre???

Once again, it is not the flight path that is the issue, rather radar shaddowing.

That's cool. It makes it different the way you complain about it. Now it moves to, "Why can't the feds pay multiple millions to upgrade the radar equipment so that we can get taller buildings."

I loved curved triangle shaped buildings, and this one is pure gold.
