Lake Maughan in Mt. Parker is similar to the lake that was formed in the crater of Mt. Pinatubo. The only difference being is that Mt. Parkers crater is now covered with thick forests.

yep.Marami pong crater lakes sa Pilipinas. Pinatubo erupted last June 1991 while Parker erupted in 1640 with no other volcanic activities since then, thus the thick forest cover.

Main Crater Lake (Taal)
Lake Buhi (Sorsogon)
Burauen (Leyte)
Sampaloc Lakes (Laguna)
Margaha Crater (Negros)

Aliwagwag Falls

A towering waterfalls considered by hydraulic engineers as the highest in the country and regarded as one of the most beautiful falls in Mindanao. It is a series of 84 cascading falls appearing like a stairway to heaven with various heights among the steps ranging from 6 to 110 feet. Overall, Aliwagwag Falls is 1,110 feet of cascading energy and 20 meters in width. All these in the midst of a virgin forest. One has to cross 13 rapids to get to the river at the foot of the falls.

at 55k hectares, there is no available data of lakes, rivers & creeks in Mt. Apo, mostly in the unexplored Davao side , in some way all of them have outlets, that's how nature works.

Lake Balanan of Siaton, Negros Oriental

Lake Balanan, Siaton Negros Orienatl Philippines

Balanan Lake is located in Sitio Balanan, Barangay Sandulot, Siaton, at the southern end of the Island of Negros . It is 10 kilometers of good, partially cemented road from the South National highway at the western end of the Siaton Bridge . The Lake is a 20-25-minute picturesque drive from the highway junction.

It is a “humerus ” bone-formed body of water oriented along a northwest-southeast direction with an area of 24 hectares. It is bounded in the east by the Balanan mountain range and on the west by the Nasig-id mountain range, both of which arise from each bank steeply to a height of more than 200 meters. The southern side is the only low and open area. There are a number of farms and farm houses along the hillside facing the lake, and five houses at the south-eastern end which is very close to the water line. The lake is 285 meters above sea level and is fed by the Lamarao, Balanan and Managob-sob creeks, located at the northern end. It has an exit located at the southern end and drops into the Siaton River .
