We don't use J. We would write Sofiya, but never Sofija. J in Bulgarian is pronounced the same as Jay, not as York. Ljubljana would be Lyublyana

Does the "J" exist in Cyrillic? I mean, you have я (ya), й (y) and ю (yu), but you wouldn't transliterate that as ja, j and ju.

Not in Bulgarian it doesn't.

Macedonia and Serbia have implemented it. For example Skopje would be "Скопje".

The transliteration of "я", "й" and "ю" would be "ya", "y" and "yu", respectively. They even made a special law for this.

I think there used to be only 'Nuova Gorizia' signed by Villesse (A4×RA17), but now I'm not sure any more. Another endonym: Postojna (Postumia).

There're many signs by Trieste with Italian-only names for bilingual villages. I guess you sign it in general, but not on every sign. Btw, the sign "Aosta/Aoste" is the first time I see slash (/) used in Italy, instead of dash (Fiume - Rijeka).

I think that they are on the signs here in the distance but unfortunately they are not readable.

In Slovenia I've only seen one similar (that blue thing in the middle of the arrow for straight forward), but it's not exactly the same:
