I've seen that sign already. It might be the only sign for Vienna in ex-Yugoslavia.

A-2 near Lleida, Spain:

Traditionally foreign cities have not been signed on road signs in Spain, where usually a generic "France" or "Portugal" sign is used. However, new signs now fortunately include the name of foreign cities (so far I know about some signs of Bordeaux, Bayonne, Montpellier and Toulouse in France and Bragança in Portugal), at least in motorways.

Lol, I never drove there before 2000, only in the other direction. There could be a sign for Vienna north of Maribor IMO.

I saw yestarday "Katowice" on D1 in Slovakia close to Bytća junction. This must be new directional sign, because few moths ago I didn`t see it.

Hungary: 5 foreign countries in the same sign

Yes, there is an ongoing traffic sign replacement. It was a good choice to replace small municipality (Zwardoń) with such an important city.

I`m not sure if Katowice is the best idea, instead I would give Bielsko-Biała

Btw, Slovakian D2 b/n CZ/SK border and Bratislava:

Street View shows that Győr has been signed at Malacky since at least 2012. However, the overhead signs seem to be new.

To explain it. In 2011 a new section of D4 was opened. Therefore, new traffic sings were posted including this one.

But the half of Bratislava bypass is now equipped by new traffic signs with Tern font and following some rules (there were no rules before). It is much better. We definitely dropped Gyor and replaced it by Budapest. There is a lot of photos on dialnice.info site, which is closed during Christmas and New Year season There are some nice signs with Brno (CZ), Budapest (H) and Wien (A) at the same sign.
