Unfortunately the city is light years behind Tokyo.
That's because no one lives in Downtown. American live in suburbs.... Only low income people would live in the center of the city. However, things are changing and downtown are becoming a nice place to live. They are building several condo high rises in many cities. I think Downtowns will look much nicer in 10- 15 years....
