Nice, the new version with the rounded corner looks much more interesting.

I like this one, but it's too bad about the scaled-down changes.

This is a very grand sight to behold. Love at first sight and yes, I'm green with envy. Haha, but hats off to a bold design from one of Pittsburgh's great companies. Maybe Amazon should take a lesson and get some inspiration from this design.

I took plenty of photos but had forgotten that SSC doesn't host photos. Sorry, it's not worth setting up an account to share from an external service.
I had the same observations this sunday night.
All the surrounding buildings have been marked for redevelopment under something called 'downtown renewal plan'. Does any one has more information on that ?

popcitymedia tends to have all the info. I can't find anything too detailed now but have read about various grant programs.

I would welcome that design.
That roof would be very suitable for solar panels.

it probably will have solar panels, it will be the greenest building in the world. but this building will change the skyline of pittburgh, which has been the same since 1987. (not counting 3PNC)

I just wish it was 20 stories higher. What's the point of building a signature tower if it barely peeks above the urban density?

No. way, that would look out of place. its going to make an impact from West End and Mt.washington, filling that gap. anything higher would look weird. if pittsburgh's going to build a 900ft+ tower its gotta be right next to oxford place

It's nice to see Pittsburgh on here with some new development. It really is one of the more underrated skylines. Would love to visit someday, proudly wearing my Bruins garb. Lol
