My father did that once while I was in the car with him. Only for like 20 meters or so and very low traffic.

Also what i see ofthen.
Traffic jam at 2x2 regional road with no crash bariers and gras medium. All of the sudden someone drives over the median to turn around. Many follow...

Oh yes, the shoulders are also perfect for driving on in traffic jams.
That what I like about the Netherlands. Shoulder running is actually legal during rushhours on certain parts.

For Dutch drivers:

STOP driving in the fast lane the whole time when there is absolutly no-one on the slow lane.

I saw someone (my uncle ) do that in Portugal, but it's not common

Apparently this is something that needs to be taught to many other people. I thought it was a trademark of Italy, until I started driving in Germany

I would fire somebody just because he's listening to that song, let alone dancing it while driving...

Actually I would say all 7 sound like Italians especially Rome and point's south. #4 I would change with double parking to the point that 2 way traffic cannot pass.

Dutch policeman chasing a Porsche
The Porsche crashes and then drives on to a rest area.
Apparently they change driver with a grey VWGolf and then drive on...
They deside to follow the Golf.
@3:09 you can see that the Porsche has been stopped by other policeman.
They the police creates a traffic jam to stop the car.

Driving in Miami is a major hazard.
Two things:
1. The background music is annoying and overplayed in many Youtube videos
2.Miami drivers remind of drivers at home.

Also, are Belgian drivers really that bad?

There is a difference however, with driving 120 km/h in the middle lane, or driving 90 - 100 km/h in the left lane for no reason.

No they are not. We just don't stick to rules as much as most other Western EU countries. We like to speed, but not excessive. Like for instance speed limit is 50km/h but most will drive 60km/h. Speed limit is 90km/h and most will drive 100.
On highways speed limit is 120km/h, most will drive between 130-140km/h

We don't use our turning signals to ofthen, wich is a pain in the ass on roundabouts.
We like to hang close on people that drive a bit slow and try to push them.
We do can park our cars in a decent way. We also like to park them in area's where it is not allowed. Cars parked with two wheels on the sidewalk is common in the city.
Also dubble parked cars is not that special. Mostly that's people that went to a shop for a few minutes or so.

It's true that people always block intersections when there is heavy traffic, but don't think this is Russia.
We don't like the give way rule that much, and that's why almost everyone stops, even if they have priority.

We like to call with mobile phones in the car.
We have higher rates in drunk driving than The Netherlands.
We do change lanes all the time, according to wich one will move faster or has less traffic but I don't think this is much differend in other countries.
We overtake on the right lane.

As a pedestrian or biker: I am king of the road and can cross the road whenever and wherever I want. Cars will just have to stop for me.
But actually is kind of promoted as vulnerable road user.

What we don't do:
We almost never honk.
We don't bump/scratch other vehicules to park ours like they do in southern Europe.
We don't hang screaming out of the windows of our cars like they do in southern Europe.
We don't have much road aggression like in eastern Europe.

It's just some minor violations. We just don't take it to serious with laws in general.
Like with the smoking ban in public buildings/Cafés and restaurants. When i go to a party, everywhere it says 'no smoking'.
What do you get? At least 1/3 of the people is smoking.

This video doesn't have any of the craziness you see on those roads every day. It's very tame and quiet.

I've seen far less driving abilities than this. The most insane drivers in your vid are the ones which are staying in the left or middle lane for no good reason at all. If you don't overtake, just move your car to the right lane and don't block te road ! (Even when driving at the speed limit: it is not your task to play policeman - if someone wants to go faster just make place.)

Yesterday, a car turned over on the Belgian E40 in Tienen because a black BMW wanted to overtake him.

First the black BMW was hanging very close to the other car. The other car couldn't let the BMW pas because there was a line of trucks on the slow lane and there was pretty much traffic. When the BMW finally passed the driver kept driving same speed as the other car an making some guestures. The next moment the BMW went driving in front of the other car an then slamming the brakes. The other car got of the road , spinned and turned over. Many people saw what hapened, but no-one has seen the license plate of the BMW.
