Belgian truck drivers have an overtake ban at all times.
Still you will find yourself in this situation many times:

Not from a motorway, but here is a little contribution to show how bad tempered Kiwi drivers can be. Parked car in one lane and traffic in the other? Solution? PAVEMENT! Quite normal behaviour for Auckland.

LOl they just take the sidewalk.
Simple solution: Concrete blocks on side walks or "amsterdammetjes" No ID if that word is used anywhere else beside Flanders and The Netherlands :p

so from what posted in page 1 & 2, Driving standard in Belgium must be somewhat on par with 4 countries of Southeast Asia - Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia & Philippines .

Yeah, there is a very sharp bend there. Portuguese dirvers aren't that fast on roads like that, but on rural roads...

Wait a minute: that's presented in thread after thread around here as a characteristically American problem.

It's also a problem in the UK. Maybe not quite as bad as the US, but still

Chriss said this was the difference:

We drive 120km/h on the fast lane and keep doing that, Freaking people out that want to drive faster (over the speed limit)
While in the US people drive like 90-100km/h on the fast lane whitout any reason.

Just replying what Chriss said. I have hnestly no idea if that' true or not.

yes but the question is: is it legal in america to stay in the left lane?

cause they're doing it so often I'm starting to think it is...

oh and this is pretty crazy: it's a page from Katy Perry's rider agreement, regarding driver's:
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/file/ka...y-rider?page=4

check the one which says "safety first"
we're not in a race <--> always use far left lane....
