Carissa Park (Flora Dr) Nearest FH condo to Tampines East MRT Station

With the forthcoming DTL3's Tampines East MRT station coming up in a few years time, that make Carissa Park Condo in the Flora Road/Drive area the nearest FH project to the station. Out from the side gate turn left, cross traffic light junction under the TPE flyover, go straight pass the Tampines Build&Design HDB (this was one of the first in Singapore) and should be able to spot the nearest entrance/exit to the station juz before the traffic junction of Tampines JC. From the map it seems to be about 800 to 900m walk, of course it depends on where is the eventual MRT entrance/exit.

With the 99LH in Flora Road/Drive area, and 99LH and EC in the Pasir Ris area, now pricing between about $700 to $900 psf (was told some are starting to ask for close to $1k psf), some of my friends still think Carissa and those FH projects are still very worth with average of $760+ to $800+ psf (?).

Of course ppl that buy in this area are mainly for own-stay (some for investment) and must be East lovers. What are your views?

its a looooooong walk to the mrt,can forget about walking there.
no way carissa park can be considered near mrt.:cheers:

Yeah, it seems quite a distance from the MRT station, though at nearly 1km, it is still walkable ... ... kinda. Of course, the distance is if there is a direct path to the mrt but it's never like that. The direct distance between my place and the mrt station is about 800mtrs but its not a straight path and have to walk up/down hill. Takes me about 13mins walk to get there.

However, the Pasir Ris area has its own special appeal though I'm not sure how Far East's Seastrand is doing.
