I had driven on the ORR service road from the Pedda Amberpet to Bongulur on the service road. I think service roads are also ready from Pedda Amberpet to Patancheru. Quality of the service roads are also very good but there a lot of speed breakers (Sometimes even five together at a single place).
Yes I think its intentional, they want people to avoid service road because of speed breakers. They want people to spend and go via ORR and PAY the TOLL

Yes buddy, I enjoyed oRR while its still free, planning to go next weekend as well.. lol... This time I will click some better pics.....

Awesome!! Way to go Hyderabad... This looks like it is one of the best roads in India, very well designed. I used to live in Hyderabad during my childhood and college days..up to 1978.. the roads were abysmal then. Feels proud to see such a great road and also an awesome airport in Hyderabad.

I wish there were electronic sign boards, led lane blinkers (atleast near the exits), proper lighting in general, and railing on the medians. These are some of things missing, IMO.

The service roads are not one-ways now but as traffic picks up they can easily be converted into one ways for smoother flow.
