the crown is better the podium a bit smaller and i liked how impressive it was. in the end these changes are only details though, the overall design stays rather untouched and i do not really mind the change

I agree. As a fan of Chrysler, I really like this one. There's not enough symmetry in modern skyscrapers. Too many look like abstract lobby sculptures.

I like the crown. Somehow it kinda harmonizes with the other buildings around it. I think it's a work of a genius; it really does express what Tommy Winata, the developer, wants to see. I despised it at first, as I was hoping to see something like the Shanghai Tower, but as I 'understand' the crown, it just grew on me.

One thing though; the structure is just way too slender. It doesn't coexist well with the crown, as well as the rest of the skyline. Personally I like the previous design better, when Danayasa Arthatama was the developer. They had a 'fatter' tower, and looked more like the Petronas Towers.

Interestingly enough, they have adjusted all the "spikes" of the tower, in the new design they don't bend as much outwards (but rather upwards). Wonder if this was changed after wind tunnel tests?

no the position of main tower is not changed, they're at the same position, the bridge seems longer on the new render because they've changed the podium design, they removed the "gapura"-like entry in the end of the bridge

If you see the night render closely, you'll see the changes. The main tower slightly move to the left a bit.

To me it looks it's just the base which is a bit more slender now, the tower itself looks as big as before.

Ok so I was in Wikipedia looking up buildings in curiosity. And I just happened to be in Signature Tower's page. It said it was recently cancelled. What is this, I'm having a panic attack. I know Wikipedia isn't a reliable source when it comes to proposed skyscrapers, but still. First, it got a design I thought was ugly. Second, it lost a title it could have gotten--Tallest Building in Southeast Asia--to a skyscraper in Indonesia's biggest rival, Malaysia. And now it just HAD to be cancelled. Come on I need clarification.

I love the new design btw, it's now perfect. But it would be useless if the tower itself is cancelled, wouldn't it?
