Nice!

More yachts in Miami. I hate it that Ft Lauderdale has got the most of them.

Thanks, 1772! But as far as the yachts are concerned, look at it this way - It's all the same metropolitan statistical area. Let Fort Lauderdale have some of the limelight. Miami has other things going for it, like one of the most dynamic skylines in the world now, that almost assured will keep growing.

Here below, I fixed the angle using Picnik on Flickr. That should make Seriously more happy, as if I'm really concerned about that. When I posted it previously, Picnik was down, but I was more interested in showing the lighting atop 801 Brickell and 901 Brickell from that perspective rather than posting a "perfect" photograph. I've certainly posted enough of them.

This is my last photo from last night as I was crossing the 79th Street Causeway on the way home.

Sure! Go ahead! I've given all of the Miami forum permission to use my photos to showcase Miami in this way. That is what I want for the city. Just let them know who took the picture.

It's now the Miami Tower. BOA is no longer there.

Thanks! I guess it has to do with where I go to get some of the perspectives I get. I truly boldly go where no man has gone before!

I've been asked about shooting Coral Gables and Dadeland a number of times. I live on the upper east side of Miami and rarely make it that way, but I look at it as an opportunity for other members of the forum to participate by capturing their own perspectives of that area. I started right here on SkyscraperCity because I wasn't seeing the kinds of persepctives I wanted to see. So get a cheap camera the way I did in the beginning and go for it. Sorry, but my old Nikon Coolpix stays in the family.

Here's a pic I snapped on my phone from an office building near Little Havana/Coral Gables. I saw the skyline out the window and I just had to go to the rooftop to snap a pic.

Little Havana is like 15 mins in car from there though. Nice pic, nonetheless. Thanks for sharing it with us.
