Hey, Inno. Have you been to Gwanghwamun recently? A lot of projects underway there and I'd love to know how they are progressing. D-Tower, 4 Seasons, KT building etc.
Lotte Tower is taking everyone's attention, but we all know Northern Seoul is King

The buildings have 39-40 floors, so I think they'll be around 150m-160m high. My assumption is based on this building height calculator: http://www.ctbuh.org/TallBuildings/H...B/Default.aspx

seeing some updates would be great! i would also love to see the progress in front of Yongsan station, especially Amore Pacific HQ and the new buildings shown above

So if anyone is around Yongsan or Gwanghwamun, please take some pics

Is it just me or do most of the new skyscraper projects create suburban cityscape rather than dense "central" city? It seems that many of them are surrounded by big roads and/or parks and the buildings are not very close to each other so the main means of transportation will most probably be car.

Thanks for sharing that thread; those are the changes that make Seoul feel like the amazing megacity it is.

@ghettobird: Those projects are all proposed around the Korail railyard, near the American military base, so there's less activity and development around there than there is in most parts of the city. That's probably the difference you're seeing.

Long time no see dear friend!! I'm keeping my finger crossed for your journey?

Rigt northern SEOUL is my best spot!! My mind calm and peacefully when i go to northern seoul(CITYHALL, JONGRO, Gwanghwamun AREA).
I don't really like gangnam area.
Agree northern SEOUL is king. As you know it is hard to express some great overwhelm atmosphere from northern seoul.
maybe due to that place is traditional center of korea as king's palace. So some energy came from there

BYTHEWAY LAST saturday i go to Gwanghwamun and DDP. And take a some photos.

As you said it is really changed recently.

This is my photos THANKS

Awesome, Inno never lets us down

Yeah, Northern Seoul is amazing. Historical and modern at the same time. Incredible density in the Jung Gu/Jongno Gu district. When I lived in Anguk last year I would very rarely cross the river to the south. Go the North.

You should post these in the thread about this project, too, so more people know about it. Last time it was updated, I think there was only one of the towers going up, but it looks like all three are rising now.

Wow, that Hanhwa remodel looks amazing; it seems like Jongno gets all the really nice designs for smaller towers.
