Update of some projects mentioned in my previous posts.

Raemian Mapo Wellstream (?) Mapo-gu, Hyeonseok-dong

http://blog.daum.net/barakyou/660

I could only see them at night (so no picture frm my sh**ty phone), but they're definitely topped out now. Here is a recent picture I found online of the project

http://blog.naver.com/jamesahnms/220419316554

Mapo Hangang 2nd Prugio Appartment Mapo-gu, Hapjeong-dong

http://biz.chosun.com/site/data/html...030901880.html

These are the white buildings on the left. As you can see, they are already 10 floors high or so.

RIGHT Sinbanpo District 5 confirm like your rendering(of course get app long ago and U/C)

interesting that apartment 일반분양(normal selling house which means extra house for selling except for original owner's house) market price around $ 35 thousands per 3.3㎡.

it is comparable my home town Lotte castle gold park's 17 thousands per 3.3㎡ which successfully selling all.

According to my own researches, the Godeok Raemian Hillstate project is much bigger, and look like this.

I have found some recent pictures of the current construction status :

Acrotower Square => http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1743178 and http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1746023

Cheonho Daewoo Prugio City => http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1746597

Behold for the architectural marvel (sarcasm) that is the Cheonho Daewoo Prugio City.

http://blog.naver.com/wnsgmlzld/220426597696

Yeah, it really looks about as dull as the 3D renders... But hey, it's fairly tall, so there's always that. Yeaaah!

Raemian Gangdong Palace => http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1742691

Here are some photos of the project. They are actually a couple of weeks old.

http://blog.daum.net/_blog/BlogTypeV...articleno=1134

I actually really like this project, like the way the 4th (commercial/officetel) tower breaks from the 3 residential ones.

The tough rules enacted by mayor Park Won-Sun restricting construction of tall buildings are currently being relaxed due to pressure (from homeowners, promoters, the opposition), forcing the mayor to backpedal. There is a lot of technicalities and my Korean is not good enough to explain it thoroughly, so I'll let someone more knowledgeable explain it.

Apparently, the 35 Floor limit for buildings near the Han River is still on, but that might not be the case much longer. In addition, other restrictions about small building balance and surface area have already been lifted.

This should help pave the way for many new highrises near the Han River, especially in Yeouido, Banpo, Sinbanpo and Apgujeong !

Any help on the regulatory ramifications of these articles / videos would be appreciated. Again, don't take my words for granted here.

SHARING (Semi)-complete list of Korean Skyscrapers and High rises
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wsaxbulhld...orea.xlsx?dl=0

I've been compiling stats/lists about skyscrapers in Korea. The only lists that I could find were either incomplete (Wikipedia, Skyscraperpage), inaccurate (Emporis) or uneditable (on this forum).

I've tried to make my own list of Korea's skyscrapers in an excel file. It includes over 800 buildings over 100 meters, with various informations (floor count, year of construction, city, height...). The good thing is that you can sort them and use them in a pivot table.

I suck at pivot tables but I managed to do some sorting by height, city and year of construction, which you might find interesting...

Here it is for all of you to use :
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wsaxbulhld...orea.xlsx?dl=0

My sources : mostly Skyscraperpage, Emporis, this forum (especially http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...636623&page=20 , http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...+the+lake+park).

There are obviously mistakes (height can be calculated differently, buildings can have different names, I did deduct some data that was unavailable...) and most notably: omissions. I voluntarly left out many buildings (mostly residential complexes in the 100-150 range) mentioned by Emporis, because in this case, the height is often just an estimation based on the floor count (which overestimates the size of these buildings because they are usually simple residential buildings with low ceilings/floors).

Overall, I a fairly confident that for buildings over 150 meters, there are few omissions. But smaller buildings (between 100 and 150) are definitely incomplete.

If you guys want to just enjoy the data, please do so.

It would be great if we could work together and if you had some additional buildings to add (with sources, and not the Emporis "estimated height" source), or any additional info for that matter (location, building type,...)

There are quite a few SK Leader's View, The Sharp or Prugio that are 40-floor tall, but without an official height (The one's in Suwon for example), so if you can help out with official figures, please feel free.

You can also add PRO/APP/PREP/UC/TO buildings if you wan't, I didn't do it because there are so many "proposals" that go nowhere that I thought it was a loss of time.

Don't hesitate to PM me if needed.
