Kolkata's 1st Organised Retail Space

Born in 2000, but still a personal favourite of many, 22 camac Street is a pathbreaker. Though not a full fledged mall, as it lacks a multiplex, it is a favourite shoppers choice and a night hot spot

Camac Street entrance. Blocks C & D

Wood Street entrance. Blocks A & B

Popular Anchors include:
Westside Store 65,000 sq ft
Pantaloons store 55,000 sq ft
Pizza Hut restaurant
Food bazaar
Shisha Lounge bar
Ivory Kitchen speciality restaurant
Amoda Spa bar
Zevar & Z Lounge
Nik Nish
The Platinum Lounge
Bombay Shiv Sagar restaurant
CCD, Barista, etc

Several Offices include
HCL Comnet, Gujarat NRE Coke, SPML Ltd, Future Group, Unitech Universal, etc

Shreeram Aracde.

But I think A/C Market is older than that.

In real terms - New Market is the oldest. Wish they could really restore the whole market and make it a really nice place.

right. Shreeram Aracade was it. I was going to write A/C markets. I had been to the one in Howrah in 1994 if I remember correctly.
Weren't there plans to restore New Market after that fancy parking lot opened up? whatever happened to it?

I dont think they had any plans of revamping the market as as such. They wanted to decongest the parking woos in the locality.

The Howrah A/C Market is different from the the A/C Market in Shakespeare Sarani (Kolkata) though.
