I got fucking wrecked on the Irn Bru/Bells alcopop. I remember following it up once with a bottle of Cherry Brandy. Don't try it.

It seems they are having a mass advertising spree in the UK, they have been lots of stalls in UK cities giving away free bottles of irn bru. I must say though it's worked I prefer it to coca cola now haha

Irn Bru is available in Coles stores in Australia (the largest supermarket in Oz), in the international section. So I've reacquainted myself with it recently - since the price is a lot more reasonable (than when it was only available at specialist stores).

It's still not available in Coles in Victoria.

It's everywhere in Perth, though - even in the small independent stores. And since I'll be stuck in Perth for the forseeable future, Irn-Bru might just be the thing that stops me dying of boredom.

You can get it in Woolworths in Sydney. I lived there for a few years and the large store just off George Street had Irn Bru for sale

Canny get it round these parts, sadly. I've had friends bringing a couple of bottles every time one of them comes to visit. And every time I drink the stuff, I don't get any mosquito bites for about a week. May be on to something here...

IRN-BRU should make an agreement with Firstgroup Company to promote there drink on all their buses and trains around Scotland that would be cool something BIG. An example below. IRN-BRU 32 advert with the bird classic.

Even in a city where the senseless destruction of heritage was/is commonplace, I refuse to believe that the Irn-Bru sign was scrapped. It'll probably be sitting in pieces in an East End lock-up.

Wow... thanks, just had to see this thread 5 minutes before my local store closes and I'm about to die of thirst. Oh and btw, it's a myth that Irn Bru is the only country where Coca-Cola is not top, actually Scotland is the only country where a cola flavoured soft drink is not top.
