Sao Paulo Metro - future Line 4 station "Sao Paulo Morumbi" picture, slated to open by 2017/2018. The consortium building this and Vila Sonia terminus station had problems and these two stations were removed from its scope, and will be rebidded in the (hopefully) near future.

If we followed the logics of investors and politicians that managed the Line 4 Yellow, it should be totally built and functional by now. It was all about "The private iniciative is the best option to build and operate the metro system because private capital along with public capital makes everything faster". Well then, where is Geraldo Alckmin explaining why the Line is delayed (but without lying to the population, like he is used to).

Yes, construction is only "private" in the sense that every other metro line and public work is: they award it to private contractors, like they did lines 1, 2, 3, 5. The Public-Private partnership only takes over in operations (and purchase of rolling stock).

This will be different for Line 6, which is Brazil's first full PPP in metro systems> construction is left at the entire responsibility of the private consortium, which has a deadline for completion (in that case, May 2020).

Is this triple bus a new concept? I've never seen a bus like this before!
Furthermore, if a triple bus is necessary, wouldn't it be better to put a surface train instead of BRT's?
