Port Authorities has asked bidders to submit revised quotation because they added 5 more storey on previously planned 30 storey. As soon as the contructor is awarded it will take another 3 months to mobilise equipment to the site.

So here is the run down of projects along Sokoine Dr: 1.PSPF Twin Towers 35+35 storeys 2.Ports Tower 35 storey 3.Mwalimu Nyerere Foundation 20+15 storeys 4.DSM Maritime Institute Tower 12 storey These projects are all in same area.

Its called diversification of sources of income. Just look at a good number of towers in East Africa and you will discover a number of them are owned by some security fund. From Kampala's workers house to Nairobi's NSSF.
