Victoria is the capital of Britsh Columbia in Canada. It's located in the Vancouver island It has a population of 80.00 people, being 330.00 in greater Victoria. It's a touristic city, called "The Garden City". In Victoria you can find the Parliament of BC, the University of Victoria, one of the most important universities in Canada, also some castles like the Craigdarroch, the wax museum, and the Harbour. There's also an imponent hotel named Empress Hotel and a famous garden: The Butchart Gardens. The city also has an international airport and it is connect to the city of Vancouver through the ferry boats . Enjoy Victoria!!

I love Victoria and its beautiful architecture. I use to go there when I lived in Seattle. Great set.

Beautiful city. I have vivid memories of watching Cathy Freeman compete there at the 1994 Commonwealth Games - where she draped herself in the Indigenous flag. Amazing.

It reminds me a bit of New Zealand - in many of those pictures it could be pre-quake Christchurch or Wellington. Stunning. Love Canada!

Victoria, for me, is a charming town close to the Pacific Ocean, and I can truly sense why this city is a bit under-appreciated... The red-bricked City Hall looks truly spectacular, as well as the lovely coastline and kids playing musical instruments on the boardwalk. The waterfront buildings (I suspect many of them are hotels) look awe-inspiring and beautiful, so do the waterfront apartments lined with marinas next to them. The open spaces look pleasant and charming, so do the buildings with unique architectural designs embedded in them, giving me the impression that even though the city seems small, it is packed with an urban flair that makes me want to expand my repertoire of urban planning in a small-scale. And I'm pleasantly surprised that the city, despite its small population, operates double-decker buses too, making me want to upgrade the buses I see here in San Francisco!

All in all, your images look magnificent and charming… it truly makes me want to go there soon! Regards, and hopefully, you'll show even more photos! (P.S. I've made repeat visits to this thread, and this is just my first time replying to it!)

If I were in Victoria now, I'd pop into the Empress Hotel, and head for the Bengal Room to enjoy a nice curry dinner!

You mean 80.000 and 330.000, i guess

And please post less pictures per post.

Will you show us more of the real 'garden city' ?
