Citylights' Reflections in the Rochor River. I spotted two white egrets hunting fish in the shallow waters and mudflats during low tide at Rochor River (egrets are more commonly seen in Sungei Buloh and Jurong than in the city).

the angles in the 1st and 3rd pic of Citylights are great, especially that reflection one...looks like the final colour will not be white (hope not)

I spotted a large collection of free-roaming white egrets in a fenced up plot of empty land at the junction of Queensay & Commonwealth Ave...if they do not become a public nuisance it could be quite cool to have more of such 'nature' visitors in the city :-)

From a copy of the brochures I have, 2-bedders should be unit numbers 18, 20, 23, 25, 28, 30 from levels 7 to 35. All of them are in the slim blocks 86, 88 and 90, with unobstructed view of the Kallang waterfront and the sea beyond Tanjong Rhu(if at higher floors).

The 2-bedders were selling slowly and steadily until the second half of 2006, when buyers' eyes were suddenly opened up with the property bull-run. Anyway, every one of the 600 units in Citylights has the Kallang waterfront view except for the townhouses. Some have both Kallang (front) and Jalan Besar (behind) views. |

some of the units left in block 80 are in the corner - the one that is tucked closer to block 90. they say the view won't be so good there as their windows look toward changi and have no balcony. but i suppose it's all relative. there will still be a water view maybe just not as nice as the ones in block 88 or 86.
or maybe the sales agent just wants to push the 3 bedders in block 90 instead of the 1 bedders in block 80? must take a better look at the towers for the colour scheme. they looked white to me, but then it's the base coat. the shophouses clearly look cream coloured. |

They were not old conservation shophouses but a small commercial building probably about 4 storeys high that was demolished. I vaguely remembered having my foot massage done at the Sin Tiong Kok Foot Reflexology shop at the ground floor there some years ago.

Yep ..... u are right about that. I noted the inconsistencies but we understood what he really meant without getting too much into the details.
