In 2011 our nominal GDP is estimated to be around $231.111 billion.
231 111 000 000*0.02=4 622 220 000 So if we're talking nominal GDP it would be around $4.622 billion. Our GDP based on PPP is estimated to be around $508.265 billion (in 2011). 508 265 000 000*0.02=10 165 300 000 So if we're talking GDP based on PPP it would be around $10.165 billion. These GDP stats are from the IMF.

As the article states, it is a little too early to do so for Egypt. It could prove to be counter productive, maybe it would have been better if Egyptian government had taken a more measured approach.
