Beautiful! Kingston isn't a place I've really seen much of. I love the architecture though: kind of a hybrid of many different styles, both American, European/British. It looks very walkable too.

Thanks!

Kingston was one of Canada's major cities in the 19th century and was briefly the capital. A fine collection of buildings remains from that era.

These shots were taken very early in the morning, Kingston has bustling tourism industry and the streets are quite vibrant, especially from May to October. In the fall and winter, Kingston is a university town. Queen's University is one of the most prestigious in Canada.

I've always loved Kingston. I get to visit regularly because I have friends that live there, and it's quite a cool little city in the summer. Definitely one of my favourite cities in Ontario.

I haven't seen much of Kingston myself either, except for Fort Henry and the cheesy commercial area on the 401. But, wow, Kingston is absolutely amazing. I particularly like the blend of newer waterfront condo buildings and hotels on the edge of historic downtown Kingston, which I hear is bustling.

Very nice city.
I was doubting staying in Kingston on our Canadian trip, as a stopover between Toronto and Montréal. But we choose Ottawa. Now I see those great pics I'm a bit sorry for that. But I hope the present capital will be as nice as this former capital.

Thanks for sharing mate!
