Agree, not a single complex in the world has ever gave its city such a characteristic and awesome skyline. Just for that they deserves to win.

Btw, The bay view Manhattan is getting with the new towers is not even as half as nice as it has formerly been with twins.

I'm surprised how much the Hancock is beating Citigroup. It's a great building though. Should be a good fight with FCP, but I think my beautiful John Hancock Tower might be final 4 material! (before bowing to Willis, which will then bow out to the WTC)

Some good entries, but seriously, the WTC is gonna mop the floor here with it's wicked-looking, massive, dual 110-story, 400m+ overlording towers.

It is sad I think how the beautiful U.S. Steel tower is not doing that well against that ugly AON building. More people should see it in real life. It is really an impressive looking thing.

Furthermore in my opinion John Hancock Centre should absolutely take the title.

My top 3:

1. John Hancock
2. Wold Trade Centre
3. U.S. Steel building

At day time.. The willis tower looks the nicest... At night time the WTC looks the nicest with all it's lights on inside... Adding to the WTC the pure size of it is scary... It is so tall and wide. WTC to win it obvo.

Why is Aon (LA) getting crushed by the WTC if it already just lost to the US Steel Tower?

Stupid indeed. US Steel should crush WTC (although I know that is never gonna happen).

BTW: seems John Hancock is not in this competition. My mistake (finished just before 1970?)

If this were a 1960s cup, I'd vote for the Toronto-Dominion Centre in Toronto. 1970s, my vote goes to another Toronto building. Royal Bank Plaza is timeless, sophisticated, and elegant. If it were 100 metres taller, I think it would get far more recognition around the world.
