Ya voy a postear el de Montevideo, está genial y ya tiene muchísimos años (3 torres funcionando más otros lowrise).
En estos días están inaugurando un nuevo edificio, el WTC FZ (Free Zone), y continúa en construcción el más alto del país (sin contar la antena de la Antel), llamado WTC4.

Con respecto a Asunción, hace unos meses que se anunció, pero todavía no se mostraron rénders porque aún no lo aprobó la municipalidad. El terreno es en frente del Sheraton, y tendrá 4 torres de 25 pisos aprox.

Paciencia con el de Montevideo porque merece una atención especial.

The World Trade Center of Brussels, Belgium is a complex of skyscrapers at the corner of Albert II Boulevard and Simon Bolivar Boulevard in the Northern Quarter central business district of Brussels. Its three towers are among the tallest buildings in Belgium.
The complex was originally planned to have eight towers, all around the corner of Albert II Boulevard and Simon Bolivar Boulevard. The two of these at the northwest corner of the intersection became the Belgacom Towers and the two at the southwest the North Galaxy Towers.[1] Of the remaining four, two were built in the 1970s, one was built across the street in the 1980s, and the fourth was never built.

The Belgacom Towers (French: Tours Belgacom, Dutch: Belgacom-torens) are twin skyscrapers on King Albert II Street in the Northern Quarter central business district of Brussels, Belgium. The buildings take their name from the telecommunications company Belgacom. They are among the tallest buildings in Belgium.
The towers are both 102 metres (335 ft) tall to the roof, and Tower 1 has a spire reaching 134 metres (440 ft) high with a Belgian flag mounted on top. The two towers are linked by a 30 m long glass skyway between the 25th and 26th floors of each building.
The towers were originally conceived as part of an eight-building Brussels World Trade Center complex, but were splintered off into a separate project. The construction of the towers began in 1994 and was completed in 1996.

The North Galaxy Towers are twin 28-storey skyscrapers on King Albert II Street in the Northern Quarter central business district of Brussels, Belgium. There is a third building in the complex which is 6 storeys tall. The first two floors are shared by all three buildings.[1]
The two towers are 107 metres (351 ft) tall, placing them amongst the tallest buildings in Belgium. The complex has 110,000 square metres (1,200,000 sq ft) of office space above ground and 46,000 square metres (500,000 sq ft) below ground.[1] About 8,000 square metres (86,000 sq ft) of the space below ground is used for archives.[1] There are a total of 35 elevators in the complex.
The towers were originally conceived as part of an eight-building Brussels World Trade Center complex, but were splintered off into a separate project. The construction of the towers began in 2002 and ended in 2004.
The complex is being leased by the Belgian federal government. It houses the Federal Public Financial Service and other governmental bodies, with all three buildings used for administration and management

Hubo una torre 4 que nunca llegó a construirse, aunque por ahí leí que se puede llegar a hacer. Este complejo es viejísimo, se diseño en 1972, yo ni siquiera había nacido, y tengo 37!

En el de Bruselas se notan las torres viejitas, pero en el de Rotterdam – Holanda, no parece tan viejo. Yo hubiera arriesgado que era de finales de los '90, principio del 2000 y no de 1986. ¿Habrá sufrido una actualización de su fachada?

Pensé lo mismo del de Rotterdam! Salvo que sean unos adelantados a su época, y ellos en 1986 hayan logrado lo que en el resto del mundo se empezó a hacer 10 años después.
No me extrañaría que así lo fuera viniendo de los holandeses.

Destacado, Torre H, 104 metros

Recent renovations and enlargements, designed byLondon-based architectural firm Kohn Pederson Fox in collaboration with the Amsterdam firm Van den Oever,Zaaijer & Partners, involved a €300 million investment.
The renewed center consists of nine towers and two foyers. It is divided in two by a large public square, the Zuidplein. The complex features: a 27 story tower with impressive ‘platform offices’ and spectacular views; architecturally stunning low-rise buildings; and lots of additional parking space.
Visitors enter either past shops or restaurants into a large reception hall, or via the new tower’s spacious atrium in which an inner garden and additional shops and restaurants are located.
Openness and transparency are central to the building’s design. High ceilings, natural wood, stone and glass features, combined with an abundance of natural light creates a luxurious setting.
The new buildings increased the total floor area to 125,000m2, which comprises 115,000m2 office space, 5000 m2 retail space and about 1200 parking spaces.
A 2,500m2 bike garage, is located under the main square. Offices range in size from 27m2 to 3,500m2 and are flexible with regard to layout and design.

De toren is trouwens 106 meter en niet 105 meter hoog.

WTC H, 106 meter (28 verdiepingen) gebouw recht omhoog de lucht in. Het hoogste gebouw van Zuidas, het derde hoogste gebouw van Amsterdam. De snelste liften van Nederland (6 m/s), een plat dak, geen hekje en mooi foto weer.

Dit alles heeft tot de resultaten geleid die hieronder te zien zijn. Ik ben vrijdag 1 juni 2007 om 15:00 uur namelijk voor het eerst naarboven geweest in WTC H.
