BGC | Fête Manila [22F|hot|pro]
FETE MANILA - no renders released yet.
Located at the corner of 7th and 31th Street Fête Manila is a luxury designer hotel that will revitalize Hotel industry in the Metro. It is located within the Bonifacio Global City, providing easy access to numerous foodie haunts and restaurants, St. Luke’s Hospital—the country’s premier medical center, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, high-end shopping malls such as Power Plant, Glorietta and Greenbelt, and the Makati Central Business District. The French Baroque period inspired Fête Manila. It is both classic and timeless. The lobby, with rich marble floors powdered with gold highlights, is inspired by the Rococo period. The patisserie, showcasing a burst of vibrant colors and chic French design, is reflective of the ones in France. The hotel also houses an infinity pool that extends to a view, overlooking a vast expanse of flowers and foliage. The rooms are quaint and hip, employing a quirky design aesthetic, with an extensive palette of colors and patterns, intricacy of details that embodies graceful classiness. The queen of which is the shoe-shaped bathtub in the presidential suite, a unique feature. Fête Manila is a masterpiece built by the masters themselves. The developer is JTKC Land which is renowned for giving life to projects that breathe all things luxury. These are the same visionaries behind the luxury Discovery developments in the country. Architecture was done by Miyake, Masaki Associates, a firm based in Singapore, responsible for tourist attractions such as the Amara Sanctuary resort and the St. Thomas Suites in Singapore. The interiors were done by Miaja Design, a group which has furnished the most famous five-star hotels in Dubai, Singapore and Malaysia. With an air of glamorous elegance, Fête Manila was designed to welcome its visitors in a lifestyle of lavish luxury. In no time will visitors find themselves indulging in its interiors. Admiring its architecture, marveling at its modernity at the same time treasuring the French tradition. It is more a sight to behold than a feast for the eyes. It is an experience that can only be described as rich. http://www.fetehotels.com/home.html

Revitalize? Why? Is our hotel industry ailing or dying? Discovery breathes all things in luxury? Developers have their ways of exaggerating things to excite people.

Not necessarily after all Fort Bonifacio can still handle more hotels in the area especially as more and more businesses move in as BGC's rapidly growing CBD comes to fruition. But that's just my opinion of course. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. ![]() Quote:
Wow the 7th high-end hotel announced to rise in BGC in the near future! This is a good indication that BGC is really starting to be seen/considered as not only a hot spot for tourists/vacationers but also for business and commerce with its fast emerging CBD catering to many big conglomerates and institutions. Looks like the construction boom in Fort Bonifacio will continue to stay hot! |

I agree with you, dunamis. They said it is JTKC's single development in Fort Bonifacio. Your statement makes it true.

Grand Hyatt, Shangri-la, Ascott, Kukun/Berlin Hotel, F1 Best Western, Fete (Discovery) and W Hotel( Fifth Avenue). That's 6 hotels all in all.
I wonder if there will be more announcements. I hope the next will be Ritz Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, Raffles/Fairmont. In my travels, I noticed a correlation in business activity and presence of high end hotels. Surely the uptick in the economies of South East and North East Asia are enticing more and more businesses to position themselves in the Philippine market. BGC is positioning itself as the regional business and travel hub in South East Asia. And big investors in the hospitality industry are placing their bets in this burgeoning modern CBD. |

Tiu Group to build businessman's hotel in Bonifacio Global City By Zinnia B. Dela Peña (The Philippine Star) Updated July 26, 2010 12:00 AM Comments (0) View comments MANILA, Philippines - JTKC Land Inc., the property arm of the Tiu Group which owns the Discovery chain of hotels in the country, is planning to build a businessman’s hotel in Bonifacio Global City. On the sidelines of iRemit Inc.’s annual stockholders meeting Friday, John Y. Tiu Jr., project development director at JTKC Land, said the new hotel, which will be under a new brand, will rise on a 1,400-square meter lot near Bonifacio High Street. Tiu said the new hotel will offer a total of 190 rooms, 36 of which will be full service residential apartment suites. Construction of the hotel is targeted to begin early next year and may take two years to complete it, Tiu said. “It’s going to be a boutique hotel. Prices may range from P7,000 to P8,000 per room per night,” he said. Tiu said the company is also interested in tapping the REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) market but pointed out that the plan is still under study. JTKC Land’s flagship project, the 60-storey Discovery Primea is already 30 percent complete with the four levels of basement already constructed. Standing on the former Gilarmi Apartments along Ayala Avenue in Makati City, Discovery Primea is offering 90 units ranging from 383 to 680 square meters. The Discovery brand started with Discovery Suites in Ortigas followed by Discovery Country Suites in Tagaytay and Discovery Shores in Boracay. JTKC also owns the Mansiongroup, a pioneer in the serviced apartments industry which owns five of the finest and coziest hotels and residential suites in Manila and Makati City. Within the Manila tourist belt are the Boulevard Mansion, the Dakota Mansion and the Mabini Mansion. The Tiu family also has investments in various companies involved in a wide range of industries from logistics to finance through Sterling Bank of Asia and leading non-bank remittance firm iRemit Inc. The group is also into manufacturing of steel pipes and billets as well as vinyl floors. http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx...bCategoryId=66
