362 000 square feet they say? I hope this will be as slender as Steinway. I'd love to see Downtown rebuild it's height it lost on 9/11

Apparently, 111 Washington is currently under contract for a whopping $225 million which has ~362k sf for development. The Broker representing the seller is the powerhouse Massey Knakal.

I wonder who's this mysterious buyer/developer? (Jeopardy tune plays)

$225m is a lot for 362k sf, just like 125 Greenwich was, which the Shvoster forked over to a tune of $240m for a property with 360k sf for development.

With that price you know Shvo is going to have to go super lux, so what y'all think 111 Washington will be more or less? Incidentally, both properties are AS-OF-RIGHT & have NO HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS, so both of these properties are identical and therefore comparable.

I totally expect 111 Washington to have high aspirations. Intrigued? I am.

Manhattan, Brooklyn garage portfolio could fetch $250M

All I can say is that 3-5 years from now, we're going to squee with delight all the towers 700 ft and up going up now, getting prepped or having land bought up for near future development being realized and soaring to the skyline!

Hopefully by then we will be awaiting the design for the first 2000 footer and a design for a 1800 foot building will have already been released!!
