Extensions:

Line 1: None.

Line 2: Odeska is scheduled for 2013-2015. A branch with the stations Avtovokzal "Teremky" and Vulytsia Kreisera "Avrora" are scheduled for 2013+.

Line 3: Telychka, which was completed but never opened is scheduled for 2015-2025. Vulytsia Hertsena was started but is postponed. It is schedule for 2015-2025.
Promyslova,Vulytsia Horbunova, Darnytsky Vokzal, Prazka, Leninhradska Ploshcha, and Darnytsia on the Pechersky Radius are scheduled for 2013-2020.
Mostiska, Vynohradar, and Synioozerna on the Syretsky Radius, are scheduled for 2013-2020.

Line 3: Lvivske Vorota, scheduled for 2013-2025.

Ipodrom station opens 2012.10.25

Station will be the new southern terminus of the Kurenevsko-Krasnoarmeyskaya Line (blue line). The station is 12 meters below ground. The first test train rolled through Ipodrom on 2012.10.20.

Shuttle service between Vystavochny Tsentr and Ipodrom will operate since there is no reversing at Ipodrom, and this will continue until Teremki station opens next year. For now, all passengers continuing to Ipodrom will need to do a cross-platform transfer at Vystavochny Tsentr.

On October 25, 2012 the new station Ipodrom was opened.

It is the new terminus of the Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska Line.

The funicular was built in 1905. Kyiv funicular is part of the public transport system of Kyiv.

Teremki metro station

A test train will travel between Hippodrome and Teremki stations on August 24. Regular service will likely begin on October 14. Teremki station will become the new southern terminus of Line 2.

So what is next for Kiev Metro? Is there any construction going on on line M4? What are the plans for the next years lets say until 2020?

No construction yet for line 4, except Podilsko Voskresnisky metro trunk bridge, which slated to open for cars only in 2014. On the existing lines only Lvivska Brama is planned.

None other than His Excellency the President of the Ukraine Mr. Wiktor Janukowytsch (spelled Viktor Yanukovich in anglophone realms) descended into this ancient city's subway to inaugurate the newest station on Line 2: Teremky.

Opening of "Teremky" Station

On November 6, 2013, On the Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska Line (Line 2), opened station Teremky. Originally planned for 2012, delays cause its completion to move to 2013.

M4 Is not under construction as of yet.

If to look at the real situation, the completion of construction of "ghost station" Lvivska Brama is only chance for Ukrainian politicans to open at least one Metro station in the capital of Ukraine in next 6 years (if not more).

You are not quite right, the 1 or 2 stations at Line 3 Northen extension seams to be a realistic option too.

I also wouldn't totally exclude the possibility of another Chervoniy khutir-style station (e.g. in the middle of next to nowhere, but really cheap in construction) at the north-west end of M1 or east end of M3, through it makes little sense.
