Those renders doesn't look too serious to me to be honest. The slightly older proposal (rumored s&g proposal) looked much more professional and advanced than these so I wouldn't be surprised if these new revelations were just an another fakes.

That's no good. Hopefully they can extend those towers up to 729m. I'm not sure what's going on here.

no doubt, that would be the best thing that could happen . with a flat top it could reach 170 floors or so

yeah i think it already got confirmed at one point that inhabitable space will be under 600m. So probably we will get a huge crown on top of it.

yeah, compared to the designs we had before it is really a shame, although i still think the design is quite nice. but major let down to the ones we had.

780m was a rumor of earlier, not confirmed and the design that was rumored to be 780m is most likely not chosen. the design came up in earlier stages and seems to be not final.

It also says Wuhan Greenland Center is 606 meters tall :-(
English version of Wikipedia isn't correct all the time... German is better...

i didn't know that, i am german, but normally always use the english wiki, maybe for skyscrapers i should start to look on the german sites
