I'm an author on Wiki with "Reviewer" rights, so everything I write is based on correct info. I'm nearly done with New York projects (the Chicago list is good too!). It's a fact that the German Wiki is so much more reliable than the English one.

But enough know with the OT... I would be glad to see a 700m+ rise, even with a spire. Since India Tower's fate is unknown we need a megatall in this category.

Agree totally! We've quite alot 600m+ projects already. Now we need projects in the 700m+ category U/C
And since the 7 is my favourite number a tower in the 700m range is a bit magical to me

I guess 777m is the perfect height for you. There is also a tower called 777 in LA.
Btw, when there is a 700m tower u/c the Kingdom Tower will be u/c too so there is only a 900m tower missing then.

Fingers crossed on the India Tower being revived soon!

Even if that comes back, I wonder if someone will be crazy enough to hit the 900 m bracket, especially now that it may not be enough to get the tallest building title?

i agree that the previous renders were better, but i still think these rnders look great. the spire seems quite big, but not too big, it still fits to the overall design. i am keeping in mind that another 400m+ building will stand next to it at one point and i can imagine if the building next to it has a roof and no spire it will look amazingly great together. the overall shape of the design is a bit like Ping'An, yet we seem to get a normal modern glass cladding similar to SWFC or ICC, so overall a very modern looking building without too much stuff going on and an impressive top. that way they can't go much wrong with a building of that scale i think

I instantly thought Pingan with glass too, I don't know about this one. Wish the light reflection on the poster wasn't in the way, the smaller picture doesn't do it for me! Plus no way does this look around 700+ m, more like 450+m?

As much as I (we?) don't like spires, I kinda like this latest design. Still hoping for a 729m flat top box. I'm in a boxy mood today.

That's a slick new design. Looks graceful and yeah, a mixture of SWFC in a sense and Ping-An.

Looking at the upper half and very roughly extrapolating the floors, this thing looks like ~150F. Unless I'm counting the gaps as floors and they're supports... This looks to be far above 100 floors though.

I actually like it, true it's not as iconic as the original designs, but it's simple and understated, it kind of reminds me of the Comcast Center and Ping An mashed into one...

I just got a new height figure for this project. Although it is still confidential, I can say we will not be disappointed.
