Finally a proper skyscraper, like Patrykus wrote, this is the only design over 700m that is not a pyramid. Respect! Now, imagine standing at the base of that building and looking up, it will seem like this building has no ending due to (almost) uniformed facade.

this is really hard to take a good guess at the height. could be only shortly above 700m or close to 800m, i really do have no idea did anyone yet count the floors?

when the infos are right this tower will have over 130 floors. that means the highest floor is definitely at 600m+. and the crown + spire is also more than 100m tall. i'm sure this tower won't be just a little over 700m.

I'm counting 153 floors, give or take a couple. Counted double-heights as one, and might've over-counted by one or two on the lower floors on that image above the crown detailed shot. Would still be in the ballpark either way. Nice.

Arround 150 floors would be pretty impressive. Go Suzhou!!

800m is feasible for those renders, but it's too good to believe. Hopefully Shenzhen will strike back btw

please no

Btw I counted 135-140 floors but I wasn't counting above the middle of the tear drop thing - it doesn't look like there are floors above.

Caiwuwei would be nice to be really tall, simply because the location is so amazing. but for something taller than this i would rather bet on an icon inside Qianhai

The background looks like Downtown Manhattan. I can point out 70 Pine, 60 Wall and that bridge looks like the Verrazano Bridge. Imagine this in New York...

when the other 400m tower has a design to get along with it it will look perfect in the axes. additionally there are 4 supertalls planned a few plots behind it aswell to give it a density. on the opposite side of the lake we also have the supertower U/C which will give it a kind of distant counterweight to this growing CBD. so from the supertower you would be able to look across the lake and in the distance see the gate of the orient with two very tall buildings behind it towering the sky and between these buildings you could make out a little wall of other supertalls that give a form of density and not empty space between the buildings. with time i think the area can get a similar appeal that guangzhou's skyline currently has. very balanced and well thoughtout axis of supertalls.

This and Ping An Shenzhen would suit New York perfectly, especially Lower Manhattan. Pity China gets all the good stuff. Well at least it's not in a desert.

Why it should be a pitty that china gets good stuff? And I think New York gets pretty much good stuff too: Tower Verre, Houdson Yards, One 57, 80 South Street and one of my personal favorites Domino Sugar Factory Redevelopment are all worldclass Projects which can easily keep up with chinas developments, and I am only talking about projects not to mention all the completed Buildings (Crysler, ESB). I think it is good that chinese 10 million cities are getting there good looking landmarks and skyscrapers too .

this plot was set to be 500m and now is over 700m, i hope the 400m plot can also get a similar increase, so it looks perfectly balanced, maybe something over 500m would be really nice or maybe even a megatall.
